Designed for targeting large pelagic fish such as yellowtail amberjack (Hiramasa).
The hook will not break even under a hard hookset, and once it penetrates the right spot, it stays secure—never giving control to the powerful runs of yellowtail amberjack.
Ideal for targeting pelagic species such as yellowtail, greater amberjack, and bonito, as well as large bottom fish like longtooth grouper, flounder, and snapper.
Also recommended for use as assist hooks.
