A hook looks simple. It is not. Wire gauge, point geometry, forging, tempering, and coating — each decision changes how it penetrates, holds, and endures.
We inherit the judgment behind each detail from generations of hook-making in the Banshu region, then apply clear specifications and inspection standards to every product. The same discipline applies to swivels, snaps, rings, and other terminal tackle. Smooth rotation, reliable opening and closing, and consistent operation are qualities that cannot always be judged by sight alone. For us, the value of Japanese manufacturing lies in keeping these hidden defects to a minimum — so a missed flaw does not cost an angler a fish or a seller a customer’s trust.

Our hooks are made in the Banshu region of Hyogo, where fish-hook making has been refined across generations. Wire cutting, forming, forging, and tempering bring that accumulated expertise into every hook.
