A Japanese-made ringed hook for targeting large pelagic fish and big bottom fish, including tuna, giant trevally (GT), and spangled emperor (Taman).
The strong, slightly long shank and the point angle transfer force efficiently for dependable penetration, even when the hook meets a hard part of the mouth. The ringed design makes it easy to tie assist line or heavy leaders, and is also compatible with metal jigs, casting, blade jigs, and wire rigs.
Wave Line processing increases shank strength, adds flashing appeal, and helps hold bait securely. The round bend reduces mouth tearing, while Eiger processing from the throat to the point balances sharp penetration with the toughness required for big fish.
