Built on time-honored Japanese hook manufacturing and specially finished throughout, EDGE HUNTER is Brizm’s original straight-point hook for Tai Rubber fishing. STRONG+ material provides resilience and high strength despite the fine-wire construction, while the fluorine coating delivers sharp penetration.
The keen point angles slightly outward to catch short bites the moment a red seabream touches the tie, and to hook fish that approach without fully committing.
Inspired by jigging hooks, the shape concentrates force at the point even during a sweeping hook set. Once hooked, it helps prevent lip tearing and maintains high holding power.
The wide spade end accommodates various assist-line settings. This straight-point hook is designed for anglers who demand penetration, strength, and holding power in Tai Rubber fishing.
The assist line uses Brizm Brigage (#5 / 35 lb) PE with a 3-ply twisted inner core. The core helps the hooks resist drooping during angled retrieves, stay in step with the tie, and avoid tangles. Even if the line bends or kinks, a firm pull straightens it back out.
