“Plus” — 120% Upsized Single Tie Based on the Akashi Standard

Introducing a mid-size single curly tie scaled to 120% of the Akashi Standard Single. Rather than simply enlarging the original, we refined it for stability, trouble-free performance, and usability—just like we did with the Magnum big single.

While many mid-size singles deliver an aggressive, flappy swim, the Plus stands apart with a smart, natural appeal. The body stays composed while the tail swings with a wide yet smooth action that avoids harsh edges.

The sheet thickness is set at 0.7 mm. Although the concept is “natural,” the slightly thicker sheet still provides satisfying punch and presence. The swim has a lifelike feel that makes red seabream want to chase—fine-tuned until we were convinced of both its action and its ability to draw bites and follow-ups.

The EZ Curly series’ core concepts—ease of use and tangle resistance—are fully carried over into the Plus as well.
